SQLite for Flask web development

Post by alrosandro » Tue Aug 20, 2019 3:34 pm

Hi,

I'm a newbie NAS user. I have TS-212 device with 4.3.3.0724 firmware version. I'd just trying to develop a web with one of the best Python package, Flask, by following this tutor.

I've done the tutor well at my embedded Linux Mint system, so I want to repeat that using my NAS. However, I can't get access to the SQLite Server on my NAS.

Code: Select all

[/] # sqlite3 --version
-sh: sqlite3: command not found
[/] #
It seems like the sqlite3 binary isn't registered on the system PATH yet, or I just didn't realize whether it's installed or not. However, I can find the sqlite3 lib files directly in my /usr/lib.

Code: Select all

[/] # cd /usr/lib
[/usr/lib] # ls -al
...
...
lrwxrwxrwx    1 admin    administ        19 Oct 29  2018 libsqlite3.so -> libsqlite3.so.0.8.6
lrwxrwxrwx    1 admin    administ        19 Oct 29  2018 libsqlite3.so.0 -> libsqlite3.so.0.8.6
...
...
Could anyone tell me where the sqlite3 binary file is located?
Or tell me how to properly start the sqlite3 for this kind of Python web development on NAS?

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
