WirelessAP Station - WiFi unification

Post by SFX Group »

Hi

WirelessAP Station can turn the QNAP in to a Wireless Access point with the use of a PCI-e TP Link card, however does anyone know if there's a plan to link many NAS units together to they are unified so able to see devices use which access point?

Its technically eay to do, one NAS is a masters and the others are slaves all running the same WirelessAP Station app OR the ability of sharing the logs so can see the devices connect to each NAS.

Many Thanks
Many Thanks

not sure about tplink, but a qwa addon (the old version, not the newer wifi6), you could either

- connect to an existing wireless ap (i tested to my router wifi)
- create a wireless ap. So other devices can connect to the wifi ap on the QNAP directly
