NAS Joomla Web-server video display restricted

Currently setting up a private joomla site running on the QNAP TS451D. Wanting to use original videos stored on NAS. All working fine using Allvideos, a Joomla internal plugin however videos used over 1 Gb have sound only, no video. Viewing the videos direct from NAS File Station and Joomla stored video folder, video of some movies not functioning. This is pointing an issue within the NAS
Any input please on what I can do.

try a vm or container webserver...much more compatible and up to date than the internal one
