On some devices (TS-251A, TS-251+, TD-251D) everything is fine.
But on two devices (one TS-251A and one TS-351) something is wrong. After every restart on QNAP (especially after updates) UrBackup service is enables, but I can't connect to web interface and computers cannot start backup. So I must disable UrBackup and that enable it - now everything is working correctly.
I don't know why service is in that state. Can anyone help me?

I'm new to QNAP packages and I'm not clear how the downloads are named. Which qurbackup download should I use for a TS-869L NAS? TS-NASX86_X64?

Trying to install to TS-EC870U (v 4.3.4) getting error:
ln: /opt/QUrBackup: No such file or directory
/share/CACHEDEV3_DATA/.qpkg/QUrBackup/bin/urbackupsrv: error while loading shared libraries: libzstd.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[App Center] Enabled UrBackup.
+ /bin/rm -fr /share/CACHEDEV3_DATA/.qpkg/.tmp
+ exit 10

Any help?

ln: /opt/QUrBackup: No such file or directory

for unknown reason the symlink pointing to /share/CACHEDEV3_DATA/.qpkg/QUrBackup and used as prefix for compilation is not created on your NAS

Which download file should I use for a TS-869L NAS? TS-NASX86_X64?

In other words, what are the various downloads for? Are they different architectures or releases? eg. TS-X31, TS-XA28A, TS-X41

Thank you!

I too think it would be a good idea if the meaning of the (currently) four different downloads were explained for us noobs - perhaps the OP can edit the very first post in this thread? I believe they each represent a build for a particular cpu architecture, right? I have TS-451+ and after some poking around with PuTTY revealed the exact processor model (not stated on QNAP's hardware "specification" as far as I can see) then Googling to find if 32 or 64-bit, it seems I need the TSNAS-X86_64 build. Fingers crossed . . .

So it seems X31 and X41 are ARM builds whereas X86_X64 is obviously x86/x64 builds. I believe my TS-869L has an Intel Atom processor so I'll go with the X86_X64 build!

'Fingers crossed' worked like a charm :DD. The chosen UrBackup package installed okay and shows up in App Centre, though without the usual drop-down menu underneath and with a warning that it is not digitally signed.

Sweet piece of software, makes backing up several devices on the LAN very easy. The ability to image system partitions is great, though I already use Macrium Reflect for this and I think I'll stick with Reflect for that purpose. I downloaded the UrBackup rescue CD image and booted the CD on one of my PCs: it found the NAS and suggested the correct image to restore (although I plan to stay with Reflect, I had let UrBackup make one Windows system partition image just to see how it would work) so that appears to work fine. One 'gotcha' to look out for: on this PC the on board LAN interface failed years ago and I had installed an add-on LAN card. Couldn't get the rescue CD to work properly, it didn't even seem to see a network. Then the penny dropped, I went into the BIOS and disabled the on-board LAN, after which the rescue CD OS found the working NIC device okay . . . d-oh!

I remember reading few years back that this kind of Client-Server backup functionality was baked-in to Windows Home Server and I planned at the time to get that but MS abandoned it.

Shocker.

I installed TS-XA28A (ARM64) version on my TS-230.
I noticed that UrBackup Web GUI shows that the server version is 2.4.12 and there is newer one available.
Qnap App Center shows that the package version is 2.4.13.

Is there something wrong with this qpkg package?

Bring back to life ARMv5 version, thanks again to MUSL Toolchain to get rid of the internal libc limitation
you need to install MUSL TOOLCHAIN on NAS as prior to be able to run it on your old NAS :DD
