The installation is stuck at 45% but then aborts (it's only on one system)
Unfortunately, this is one of the problems with QTS UI package installs - there's not enough info shown.
Suggest you SSH into your NAS and install the package manually. You'll then see all the information that is invisible via the App Center UI.

First, download the QPKG to the 'Public' share on your NAS.
Then, install with 'sh' and the QPKG filename.
For example, if you download the x64 version, then use this:
Code: Select all
sh /share/Public/QUrBackup_2.2.11.0_x86_64.qpkg

Any idea how go get it more verbose ?
It‘s stuck at qpkg.cfg and sits there for 30 minutes now ...

I'm not aware of a way to get more verbosity out of it.
Can you post what you see? Please include your original 'sh' command and everything shown since then.

[/share/Backups] # sh QUrBackup_2.2.11.0_x86_64.qpkg
Install QNAP package on TS-NAS...
./
./built_info
./qinstall.sh
./package_routines
./qpkg.cfg

OK, cancel that one (CTRL+C), and try it again, but (as already mentioned) put your package into the 'Public' share.

Forgot: there IS a way to get more info.
Run your installer with:
Code: Select all
sh -x /share/Public/QUrBackup_2.2.11.0_x86_64.qpkg
What you should then see after the "./qpkg.cfg" line is something like:
OneCD wrote: Code: Select all
./qpkg.cfg
++ /usr/bin/expr 4823 + 20480
+ offset=25303
+ /bin/dd if=QUrBackup_2.2.11.0_x86_64.qpkg bs=25303 skip=1
+ /bin/cat
+ /bin/dd bs=1024 count=74861 of=/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/.tmp/data.tar.gz
3029+1 records in
3029+1 records out
74860+1 records in
74860+1 records out

Wow...
It took a few hours to install ...
Strange ...
Just one system is that slow ...

Hi,
I installed the package on TS-469L
http://ip-address:55414 --> is not working. Is there a service that I had to start first?
Greetings
Heinz
In the meanwhile, I found a link was created to a wrong target:
urbackupsrv -> /opt/QUrBackup/bin/urbackupsrv
On QNAP there is no /opt

if you have no /opt your NAS has a problem
source is cross compiled with /opt/QUrBackup as prefix
and symlink is created pointing /opt/QUrBackup to .qpkg/QUrBackup on qpkg start and removed on qpkg stop

Well,
thank you for your answer. But there is no /opt.
I think the /opt directory has changed.
