- backup of NZBGet/nzbget/nzbget.conf
- stop + uninstall NZBGet 15
- install QNZBGet 20 + stop
- compare and manually copy all relevant settings to QNZBGet/bin/nzbget.conf and be sure to CHANGE THE {mainDir} SETTING or WebUI will not work
- start QNZBGet again (I needed a Qnap restart too)
"be sure to CHANGE THE {mainDir} SETTING or WebUI will not work

What exactly should I change there?

I have
MainDir=/share/Download/nzbget

Hi I just uninstalled an old version and installed 20.0.0 clean but the webui isn't loading. Any tips to completely clean out the old app? or get this working. I'm fine with manually setting it up again.

I did the same thing, and now no webui, I can't even find the previous version I had installed. I'm pretty sure it wasn't called qnzbget, but just nzbget.

it should be in /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg

If you tried restoring your previous settings, you'll not want to restore the webui settings as NZBGet will now likely be in the QNZBGet folder instead of NZBGet.

Good luck!

Qnzbget 21.0.0 update using qnapclub broke my installation. I think everything is reverted to default settings..

What a mess.

Same here. I have lost all my configuration!

Used to NZBget was creating backups before upgrading. It was part of the upgrade process.

I have had that happen a couple times, so I use the in-app upgrade mechanism vs. qpkg version.

TS-253Be
QTS 4.4.1.0978
NZBGet 21

I had to reinitialize my TS-253Be and I then created the NZBGet directory, and reinstall the QNAP Club repository. I then installed NZBGet and put the pathway address in for the main directory /share/CE_CACHEDEV1_DATA/NZBGet (then saved the changes).

However, the folders aren't showing up in the NZBGet Share.

What could I do to make the folders appear?

I reinitialized the NAS, created the Storage Pool, and Volume (+Snapshots). Then I created a NZBGet Share, then installed Container Station (started it), installed QMono, then NZBGet. Then I used a file to restore NZBGet settings, and NZBGet is now working.

Is it in any way possible to set folder/file permissions of downloaded files?

My downloaded files always got "admin:administrator" regardless of any destination folder used.
