Good question. I haven’t. Interesting to know if it works on that new version.

Re: [ Domoticz ] [ 20.2.11995 ] lightweight Home Automation System
Domoticz has bad idea to chage their binaries to make it runs only on operating system with a libc version >2.28
i had to completly rewritte the QPKG to make them runs under another ELF (actually runs on Focal and Bionic ELF, will probably move all under Focal)
Apache74 ( https://www.qnapclub.eu/fr/qpkg/835 ) is required because some binaries like Python3.7 are needed and some other too

Sorry to ask, but I am a simple user and hardly understand your post @QNAP_Stephane.
Buying your Apache74 (https://www.qnapclub.eu/fr/qpkg/835) will make the updated Domoticz run on 4.5.1.1480 build 20201108 update published 2020-11-09? Will Python run now, too?

update will not work a clean reinstall will work .. python and pip are embedded in Apache74 to allow this version running
the python embeded in qnap firmware is making mess with the qpkg that why i need force Apache74 usage

Re: [ Domoticz ] [ 20.2.11995 ] lightweight Home Automation System
I am very interested in the solution as well. I am currently running domoticz V4.10717 on QNAP. I am staying at the last QTS version that makes Domoticz function.
I see that a newer version of Domoticz is now available for QNAP: 20.2.11995
I would like to upgrade QTS to a newer version and install the latest Domoticz version as well.
What reinstall is needed for this? Latest QTS, then Apache74 and then a Domoticz reinstall?

Re: [ Domoticz ] [ 20.2.11995 ] lightweight Home Automation System
I did the following:
- Removed old Domoticz version 4.10.717
- Bought and installed Apache 74
- Installed new Domoticz version 2020.2.11995
After restarting and starting Domoticz, a new webpage opens (port 8855) but no Domoticz interface appears
I am still on QTS 4.4.3.1439
Is that the problem?

Re: [ Domoticz ] [ 20.2.11995 ] lightweight Home Automation System
Very unstable though. Crashes every hour. I do not recommend installing it. I will revert back to the old version tomorrow.
Update:
I will not revert back just yet. After disabling my z-wave stick Domoticz keeps running so I have to figure out what the problem is.
Also I get the ‘Browser cache refresh failed’ error even after clearing the cache. This seems to be related to Apache.
Update2:
Browser cache error can be removed by editing the html5.appcache file. That works, but my Eonlabs Z-Wave stick just doesn't want to work

Did anyone else install Apache and the new Domoticz version on Qnap?
If so please share your experiences.

Re: [ Domoticz ] [ 20.2.11995 ] lightweight Home Automation System
Am I really the only one here?
What should I do? Either Stay on QTS 4.4.3.1439 with Domoticz V4.10.717 forever as this works fine or...
Upgrade to latest QTS, accept that I bought the wrong NAS brand as Domoticz, even with Apache74 will not run well on QNAP and find myself a new Domotic solution?

Running my domoticz system for 7 years on a raspberry Pi.
I have just ordered my first Nas the TS230.
Will it run without problems?
Edit after some reading Domoticz is far from stable on Qnap?? Hmmmzzz luckily I ordered from Amazon. And have to look at the other brand unfortunately.
