Re: [ Gogs ] [ 0.9.97 ] GitHub Fork
I installed armv5 version of QGit and Gogs on my HS-210 (marvel 1.6, QTS 4.2.2). but can't open it. when I run gogs directly on the install path (/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Gogs), it shows "illegal instruction".
How can I run it up on HS-210? Thanks!

Yup, got the same on a TS-221 with a ARM v5 (QTS 4.2.2). The only one i got working on my NAS is Gogs 0.9.13c2matrix wrote:I installed armv5 version of QGit and Gogs on my HS-210 (marvel 1.6, QTS 4.2.2). but can't open it. when I run gogs directly on the install path (/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Gogs), it shows "illegal instruction".

Although i'm still happy that one of the packages is working, upgrading would be nice

Re: [ Gogs ] [ 0.10.8 ] GitHub Fork
Hi all,
I've install the latest gogs 10.8 on a 4.3.3 firmware and it's working great.
By default, the website url is using port 3000 instead I would like to use my qnap domain and port 80 mainly because all my repositories will be working with http url and I want to be as clean as possible.
I understand there are two steps. First change gogs config to work with the domain(seems to be working) and second is to update qthttp vhost file with proxypass to redirect http://<ip>/gogs to http://<ip>:3000 (conversion from domain to ip is done by qnap server).
http://myqnapserver/gogs --> http://myqnapserver:3000
Did anyone manage to get this working? I've tried a feel suggestions but none successful.
Regards

Re: [ Gogs ] [ 0.10.8 ] GitHub Fork
hi all,
I've been working on setting up a virtualhost for gogs to solve the url issue. Unfortunately I can't progress any further.
It seems the web server is resetting conf files everytime the service restarts.
How can I go around that? Did anyone face this issue?
Regards

Re: [ Gogs ] [ 0.10.8 ] GitHub Fork
Hi QNAP_Stephane,
I can't setup virtualhost for gogs because qnap web server is resetting the apache config files at each restart.
This is what I want to do:
1) Include proxy modules in the apache.conf
2) Create a virtualhost using proxypass in the httpd-vhosts-users.conf
Here is a link with more details: https://discuss.gogs.io/t/apache-sub-ur ... gogs/129/4
How can I prevent the config files to be reseted? or is there another way of having this done without having another apache instance using Qapache?

Re: [ Gogs ] [ 0.10.8 ] GitHub Fork
simply include your change to the Gogs startup script to modify the apache conf file and create symlink on qpkg start for your config file
you can check on my Gotty last version qpkg, i did it work over the proxy pass with the delivered Qnap Apache

Re: [ Gogs ] [ 0.10.8 ] GitHub Fork
Thanks great Stephane,
That's it. So it is possible to include instructions in the app to modify the apache configs.
That's brilliant. Is this something you might do for gogs and other web apps that are selfhosted and use ports.
I need to get used to modifying installation package but at least now I'm heading in the right direction.
Cheers
