Hi Stephane,

Traccar project author here. Would you be interested in putting some details about your QNAP package on the official Traccar website? We can put a link to this forum (or if you have a website or something) and some basic information, and maybe contact details.

I don't really follow this forum, so please email me (address on official website or GitHub) or contact me on GitHub or any other way.

Regards,
Anton

Hi, I have a problem.
I can not see the web interface any more.
Before update of the QNAP server I had no problems.
I had Traccar 3.4 before.
Now, after installation (any version tried) I see the config page (page:12542), but not the Traccar web interface (page:18082)

What can I do?

I will update to 3.9 as soon as possible

@ MicTheSick you probably have a port used for traccar used by another application
(TCP 5001 to 5127 )

I have a new QNAP TS853S-Pro with firmware version 4.2.2. I installed the traccar version out of the QNAPClub repository, which means 3.8.0 until yesterday, 3.9.0 since today.

So until yesterday, with version 3.8.0, the traccar server was starting without any comment. I was not able to access the web gui. Using the Android app resulted in lines in the log, but the ID of the device was not registered so the traccar server only complained.

After the todays update, I have a completely different behaviour. Starting the process leads to a lot more of debug output. It initialyzes the liquibase database, which seams to work. But after a while, there is an exception, telling me something like this:
Exception in thread "main" org.jboss.netty.channel.ChannelException: Failed to bind to: 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0:5080
The port is always different, and in my opinion, the ports should be available since I did not much with the TS so far. Could you give me a hint where to look for the problem and how to solve it?

Hi, there is no other use of port 18082.
I can create tables in the MySQL database when opening the conf. site (port 12542). But then there is no access to the web gui (port 18082).

- How can I check the ports used in my qnap?
- what else can I do?

Thanks for any help!
