Re: [ RainLoop ] [ 1.10.5.192 ] SIMPLE, MODERN & FAST WEB-BASED EMAIL CLIENT

Post by Skeptical.me »

I Installed RainLoop 1.10.5.192 and I entered the Admin page and added the domain correctly (and default domain) but every time I try to login I receive the message "Domain Not Allowed" this appears to be an issue
https://github.com/RainLoop/rainloop-webmail/issues/919

I tried resolving the issue with these troubleshooting steps:

https://github.com/RainLoop/rainloop-webmail/issues/15

https://github.com/RainLoop/rainloop-webmail/issues/720

Anyone else encounter this problem?

Yes, same problem.
And by the way - how (where) do I find the Rainloop admin page?

@QNAP_Stephane, is there a way to make RainLoop accessible from the internet through a port forward?

well, you see - that's my problem. My ISP has blocked port 80 (and 433) for some reason. I have argued with them for years to get it opened, but to no avail. And I cannot change ISP because they own the infrastructure (fiber) into the condo where I live.
Any other way?

i see

if you have a x86, x86_64 or arm-x41 (31+,31x, 31p, x35, x28) compliant NAS

may be install Qapache it use port 88 by default
uncompress Rainloop from there website inside htdocs

it should also work and may be more performant ...

or change your webserver port in QTS

Excellent idea! I'll try that.
Another issue - is there any way to apply 2FA (2-factor authentication) natively to RainLoop? (or any other way)
