What is static version vs the old one not yet updated?
Entered the NAS world with a TS-251+ in December 2016. As of December 2020, disks are now used in a TS-253D.

Not sure if it’s only me but the cpu usage is very difficult from Qnap resource monitor, it’s significantly higher for some reason.

Re: [ NetData ] [ 1.30.1] Real-time performance monitoring, done right
Can somebody advise how to change Netdata.conf file? I'd like to configure the database engine to store historic data based on the documentation here:
https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/agent/database/engine/
I have tried to edit the file manually under "/opt/Netdata-static/etc/netdata" and "/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/Netdata-static/etc/netdata/" without luck - after restart it just shows a black window with the err message "ERROR 405: Cannot download charts index from server: http://192.168.1.xxx:9119/api/v1/charts"
Any suggestion where to look? Thanks!

Re: [ NetData ] [ 1.18.1 ] Real-time performance monitoring, done right
Hi.. can you explain to me how to edit /opt/NetData/etc/netdata/netdata.conf
when I SSH in, go to that folder and exectue "./edit-config /opt/NetData/etc/netdata/netdata.conf" my systems gets me back to my first screen I get after I login to qnap via SSH instead of opening and editing the actual file. I don't know how to get around this...
Thanks,
Chale

Re: [ NetData ] [ 1.30.1] Real-time performance monitoring, done right
Hi everyone,
Is there any news about the CPU temperature sensor?
https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/agent/ ... n/sensors/
I am also interested in S.M.A.R.T. attributes.
https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/agent/ ... smartd_log
If at the moment it is not foreseen the inclusion of these functions in the qpkg, has anyone managed to activate them by manually editing the configuration files?
thank you
