Re: [ QBittorrent4 ] [ 4.3.0.0 ] Bittorrent Client
Update to 4.3.0 has fixed the crashing issue for me. Downloads are kinda slow but that is likely due to trackers not supporting this version yet, but at least I can download anything again!

i removed uncessary ICU dev libs... in static build to have a smaller memory foot print on NAS...
size on some NAS has been divided by 3

Even the new version does not save my selection for monitored folders, is this weird or some other manually to edit this

Re: [ QBittorrent4 ] [ 4.3.0.0 ] Bittorrent Client
Dear Devs,
I have a problem with qBittorrent. I like using qBittorrent because it's much more faster than Transmission and it has proxy support. But since I switched to qBittorrent the kmsg log is full of the same entries:
[170078.110594] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
[170078.110604] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
[170078.110754] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
[170078.110794] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
[170078.115672] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
[170078.115683] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
[170078.115869] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
[170078.115919] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
[170078.117402] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
[170078.117419] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.

[170087.915508] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
[170087.915771] netlink: 12 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
It grows by 1-2 lines per second. When I stop qBittorrent these entries stop growing. When these kernel messages are growing, the system calls dd regularily to dump these messages to the kmsg log (I can see this activity in iotop). Disks are clicking all the time. After stopping qBittorrent, everything is back to normal. Please try to solve or help me to find solution to this problem. Google is not my friend this time. Thanks.
It's an issue since I use qBittorrent so it's version independent from my view, but I'm using 4.3.0 now.

Re: [ QBittorrent4 ] [ 4.3.0.0 ] Bittorrent Client
Hello,
I have just installed 4.3.0.0 version on my TS-431+. When I try to open it (http://192.168.1.4:6363/) I get message "Unauthorized" in web page. How it runs on your NAS?
Thanks

I got it on my TS-428 as well. It was kinda scary because I got it in every browser. However, if I go to the browser address bar, highlight and hit enter again the Bittorrent UI will show up. It's basically like before other than the "unauthorized" message where it was just a blank web page.Melom wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:15 pm Hello,

Re: [ QBittorrent4 ] [ 4.3.0.0 ] Bittorrent Client
I strongly suggest you to install QBittorrent in Container Station. It's easy, fast, almost zero risky and works like a charm. The container is isolated from the rest of the system and in case of troubles you just delete it and create a new one.
If you are not familiar with docker container this is an excellent way to start (I started with qbittorrent and quickly fell in love with containers )

bye!

Got tired of messing with this since this is way buggier than the windows version, found rtorrent, lil different but runs great on QNAP

Re: [ QBittorrent4 ] [ 4.3.0.0 ] Bittorrent Client
Hi, any ideas on why I get Incompatible version when I try to install the 'qBittorrent_4.3.0_arm-x31.qpkg' file manually (using the Appcenter gui) on a TS-431P2?
It has an ARM processor (uname -m = armv7l) that should be supported if I read it right.
I do not see it listed in the Qnapclub repo either.
Have a nice day

For that NAS you'll need the X41 qpkg.
