Re: [ QBittorrent4 ] [ 4.3.1.0 ] Bittorrent Client
Hi,
I'm using QBitTorrent in the Container Station.
I have it setup with Lidarr, Radarr, Sonarrr, and Jackett.
It all appears to be working but nothing is downloading.
Normally I download Torrents from a particular website using the Transmission App on my iMavc, so using Torrents with these Apps and QBitTorrent is new for me.
Some movies and music is in BitTorrent, when they were grabbed they started downloading in QBitTorrent then stopped.
Have they stopped because I am doing something wrong, or is this normal behaviour with QBitTorrent?
See my QBitTorrent here: https://i.imgur.com/KDTEd3E.jpeg
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Qbitorrent is not built for container station, it is a standalone static binary (bittorent-nox)
I never use docker for any application

I deleted the container and installed the .qpkg, and it is working perfectly.
Thanks again.

Re: [ QBittorrent4 ] [ 4.3.1.0 ] Bittorrent Client
Hi all
I have a weird issue using QBittorrent on a qnap and the web interface.
For the life of me i cant get the Automatically add torrents from option to work and save to config
it seems like it never actually saves any of my folder configs and it always gets back to empty after every save
any clue how to try and debug this?
best

I'm actually using qbittorrent in a container, works fine and updates are quicker than the QNAP applicationQNAP_Stephane wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 2:55 pm Qbitorrent is not built for container station, it is a standalone static binary (bittorent-nox)

I'm having the same issue now, running as native app on Qnap TS231p, it's stalling and when forcing, it will not download.Skeptical.me wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 8:15 am Hi,

Did you set a path on the Nas for the "/downloads" path in the container? Stalling downloads is usually due to file system or paths issuejesperh wrote:I'm having the same issue now, running as native app on Qnap TS231p, it's stalling and when forcing, it will not download.Skeptical.me wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 8:15 am Hi,

I'm not running as a container, but as a native Qnap app.
The path is fine, I believe, I managed to download some torrents with same path.

If you are using Windows to download torrents, then you may need a browser extension to pass the torrent file to Qbittorrent running in a Qnap NAS. I use Torrent Control for Firefox.jesperh wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 3:31 amI'm having the same issue now, running as native app on Qnap TS231p, it's stalling and when forcing, it will not download.Skeptical.me wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 8:15 am Hi,

Hey!
I've spent several hours troubleshooting why I can't see Tools > Options > Behavior menu... And still no result. I'm starting to suspect that this is remote web UI limitation. Any ideas?
Another thing that I'm missing is logs in UI. In local version there's an option to enable and view them from UI.

My qbittorrent installation seems to have lost the search plugins again. I'm going to upgrade and run the previous process to fix again but any idea how/why this happens and if there is a better fix?
