Hi QNAP_Stephane,

I got mattermost to connect to the sql server (mariadb) in qnap. unfortunately it fails to generate the database.

[CRIT] Failed to create index Error 1214: The used table type doesn't support FULLTEXT indexes.

It seems to be a version problem. mysql should be v5.6+ but could work on latest mattermost 4.4.1.

Have you got matermost running on your machine? did you install mysql?

Hi QNAP_Stephane,

ok to get this to work you must use postgresql.

I cant get proxypass working. the apache settings for the webapis are a mess.

the smtp email service doesn't work for outlook so thats a bummer.

The service is very buggy. Dont think this is a skype.

would it be possible to update mattermost qpkg?

Issue with the config file.

I solved it by removing the config entry in the Mattermost.sh file.

Also you need to fix the stop command. the killall has got the wrong binary name.

start up fails. it doesnt work if you specify the "platform -config". service fails to load. but you just have to remove the config tag.

stop doesnt work. "killall platform" is misspelled.

in the admin website( the one you created). it is always not started because it is checking for the wrong process.

are you not getting the fullindex error with qmariadb? (my new? Is it not the one packaged with qnap 4.3.4?).

Not i got these error with emdeded qnap... thats why i built latest qmariadb 10.2.12

Im not sure if have 2 db instances is a good idea....

can you ask the qnap team to update qnap mariadb version in the next firmware update?

you already have.. Qsync uses an hidden mariadb instance.. just check ps | grep mysql
