Re: [SCRIPT] Sherpa

Post by abolourian »

Hi,

Thanks for preparing this package OneCD! I installed SABnzbdplus successfully, then proceeded to SickRage which asked for github.com user/pass, I pressed enter for both and it said installed successfully. But when I click on SickRage icon, it cannot find the page http://<qnap_ip>:7073/

I suspect it has something to do with me skipping github credentials. Any thoughts?

Thanks

UPDATE: SickRage github repo is taken down (supposedly) by DMCA. No wonder why it doesn't work. Given no one has complained about this, I wonder if this happened during last few days.

Is the takedown fake or not I get the same error : Even if I point it at the mirror.
My RAID array got hosed and I'm slowly restoring my Apps & Data, SickRage is the only app that I'm having problems with so far

it cannot find the page http://<qnap_ip>:7073/

The repository is down for now, the reason seems to be fake. Hence the download can't work. Hopefully they will get it up soon until then you would have to use an alternative repository but the script looks at a different URL etc and for now, OneCD has left the forum. However his script is also on GIT so someone who knows what they are doing could create a fork and add changes.

Both times I installed it, it told me that it failed on the sabnzbd install but it actually only had to go through the configuration. Open up App Center and see if you see SABNZBD in there. If so, click on it and it should take you to the configuration wizard. I forget the port that it defaults to but you could try that as well by https://nas-ip:port.

Not sure if the sickrage repository is back online yet after the DMCA takedown, so you may have to wait for that if your goal is sickrage.

Finally, the developer has recently abandoned this project so unless someone else wants to take over the reins there probably won't be too much help incoming, I'm sorry to say. :( I found it to be a very helpful tool and I'm grateful I got to use it while he was still around (barely!).

Looking at the error, something is clearly not accessible. I would recommend trying a reboot first. Wait for about 15 Minutes before you try anything after that as all kinds of things are shifted around after a reboot.

Dears,

Just a quick round to check if this crazy thing is happening only to me. As I googled around and couldn't find any answer.

CouchPotato, installed via Sherpa, is resetting the Sabnzbd API key every now and then.

It doesn't matter if I change it on the GUI or if i - Stop CP, change the API directly in the "settings.conf", Start CP -

Independently of how i do it to setup the proper API, it keeps reverting back to: "ce3342b27934e738c7e73d8459473498".

Needless to say, whenever the API reverts to this "default" value, Sab throws an error stating that the API is incorrect and can't receive any requests from CP.

Anyone faced this as well?

I tried to "grep" the whole folder to find where is it coming from and I couldn't find anything!

Thank you in advance for any light on it.

Just in case somebody is wondering, in some other lucky search strings, I came up with people seeing that some of their parameters were being overwritten.

The recommendation is to clean the cache in the "config/cache" of your CouchPotato folder.

It worked and no longer CP is resetting/overwriting the configuration file or the configuration in the GUI.

Good luck to all.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Looks like I'll be returning here to help support SABnzbd. ;)

@safihre is releasing a new SAB shortly that will require an upgraded sabyenc.

But for now, to fix this on your install, run the following:

Code: Select all

pip uninstall sabyenc && pip install sabyenc==3.0.2 && /etc/init.d/sabnzbd.sh restart
