Hi everyone, I have recently updated Medusa, NZBGet, NZBtoMedia (Via Sherpa) and Watcher3 (was using Couchpotato) with the move to Python 3 and now the post processing has stopped with the following error in NZBget

Note: Watcher3 isn't supported in sherpa anymore, as it's not yet compatible with Python 3.8.x.

Suggest using the Watcher3 QPKG from the Qnapclub Store.

Are you able to call 'nzbToMedia.py' as your post-processing script instead?

The errors shown in your nzbToMedia log may need the assistance of Clinton Hall. You might try creating an issue on GitHub and asking him.

Hi OneCD, thanks for your quick response. Yep Watcher3 was installed via the suggested QPKG. Have been busy reading the posts here as it's been a while since I've had to visit.
As for the error, it throws a similar error when calling 'nzbtomedia' I'll send a request to Clinton Hall.

Cheers.

Edit - far out... looks like the old turn it off and on again worked

Ah, it might be worth refreshing your Entware packages again then. You might be stuck on some older ones.

Code: Select all

sherpa reinstall ew
... should get you up-to-date.

@potestus - this page may be relevant to your question: https://github.com/OneCDOnly/sherpa/wiki/QA1
In my case the app was switched on in appcentre but not actually running until it sent the restart message.. anyhow I will leave it running for now..

Watcher 3 looks like someone has picked it up.. CouchPotato is dead and sickchill movie option is low priority and struggling.
So Watcher looks like the way forward ? It needs Python compatability. Is anybody using it successfully alongside Sherpa?

How do you know this? :'

You're not giving me much to work with here. I can't advise you unless you read and respond to my posts. You still haven't posted your service log.

I don't think sherpa is a good choice for you, as it requires some familiarity with diagnosing errors at the command-line and knowing how to answer support questions. Your answers continue to be vague, and without the requested information I need to help you. Which means you're just wasting my time.

I suggest you stick with the UI package installers instead.

All is working fine ..
When the qnap restarted after its nightly nap.. sickchill wasn't running.. ie I couldn't log in.. sabnzb was running and I could log in.

In the appcentre sickchill was switched on and sabnzbd was greyed out..

I restarted sicikchill by command line and it worked fine and I started sabnzbd in the appcentre all is well..
The explanation you provided makes some sense of this.

Tested out the latest .qpkg version. Very neat and tidy.

Only room for improvement I see is that once the apps are installed (Omedusa/Lazy tested as examples).
If you click open the "open" on the qpkg, it's rerouting it to the standard QNAP page rather than the port it's installed at.

Can dig around and find the ports in the config areas, but a direct link on each would be nice.

:'

Each package updates the App Center icon with its port numbers when it finishes the 'start' operation. At least, it should. That's the purpose of the ReWriteUIPorts() function.

But, the App Center must be refreshed to pickup these changes.

What is the exact URL you're seeing when clicking 'open' on LazyLibrarian? Maybe I can find the reason it's not working on your NAS.
