BUT just recognised that when i start the server via IP instead of URL, it worked like a charme.
So i think this must be my problem :)
Good work. :geek:

/edit;
is it possible to change the port 8800 to another port?
If i try to change the port via the gui in sabnzbd and restart the server, i can not reach it any more (old and new port)
Yes, I've included some code to support this, but it only runs when the SABnzbd QPKG is 'started'.

So, you'll need change the port number in SABnzbd, then 'stop' and 'start' the SABnzbd QPKG in your App Center to update QTS with the new port number.

Then refresh your App Center web-page to reload the [/etc/config/qpkg.conf] file.

Hello, OneCD. It looks like now the the qpgs is completely dead as well as large parts of the forum.
Is that a fair statement or what do I miss?

I will look into you script, but my urgent need is to get rtorrent to work. It looks like you do not support any torrent client?

That's hard to say... which QPKG do you mean? Which forum? :?

Correct.
I was looking for a new rtorrent but I mostly meant that the sub forum I checked had very low activity the last couple of years.

Thanks for that :D I will give it a try.
By the way - sabnzbd runs very well !! I do not have any freez or have to restart my server.
I am very happy with you work !!!

But as usual, when people tell that they are happy,... they have another problem *haha*
For each download, sabnzbd creates an own folder - great.
Thats the way i need it to do

BUT: since sherpa.sh is only installed via ssh only with ADMIN user.
Each created folder from sabnzbd is owned by admin. This is kind of problem for me, because i deactivated my admin user and handle my qnap in another way with other users.
So each time i have a complet download, the folder is totaly empty - till i change the owner from admin to my other user :|

So my concrete question is:
Is there a way to change this? So that every new download is in an folder NOT owned by "admin"?!
There is an extra user for administration with admin rights (name it eg: ExtraUser).

"admin" installs sherpa.sh with sabnzbd.
Every download from sabnzbd is in an own folder owned by "admin"
--> folder is empty, because "ExtraUser" is not the owner of this folder.
Only when i change the owner of each download folder to "ExtraUser" i can handle its content...

Thank you for you GREAT WORK - i am sure this is only a little thing and presumably my fault

Kind regards !!!

Within sabnzb there is an option to set the permissions for the created downloaded files.
See https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/advanced/unix-permissions
This should do the trick.
TVS-1282 | Version 4.4.1 | 3x 12TB WDC WD121KRYZ RAID5
TS-639 Pro | Version 4.2.6 | 5x 3TB WDC WD30EFRX RAID5 as Backup
LianLi EX-50 with 3x 2TB SAMSUNG HD203WI + 2x 2TB SAMSUNG HD204UI in RAID5 as Backup drive
LianLi EX-503 with 5x 2TB SAMSUNG HD204UI in RAID5 as Backup drive

Should sickchill/SABnzb be able to unpack rar files? i've got a series that keeps downloading in rar format but never seems to unpack.

Yes, SABnzbd will do it, if it can find an 'unrar' binary (this is installed by sherpa), and if you've set post-processing to at least the "+Unpack" option.

Suggest checking the SABnzbd logs and find out what happens when your download finished. Any errors?

All processing is set to default (presumably that's +all options?)

Hi there,
love your script (used to install Watcher), but unfortunately there is no chance to use Watcher to get Italian content (Italian torrent sites are not Watcher-friendly), so I'm going to uninstall it.

After the installation I have in the App Center of the Qnap two additional icons: Entware-std 1.02 and Owatcher3: it's enough to remove them using App Center's interface ore there are other packages to be uninstalled? It's ok to do that through the interface or is better to use ssh and command line?

Thanks!

Yes, via the App Center is fine.

Uninstall OWatcher3 first, wait until it's finished uninstalling, then uninstall Entware.

Hi OneCD, hope you are safe and well?

I recently ran a restart script for SABNZBD and now get lots of SQL Command Failed errors when using the interface. Not sure what went wrong, but the interface is really slow to respond, then hangs and just gives the errors.

What is the command for a fresh install from Sherpa please?

Also will that wipe my config settings completely ?

Best regards
