About :

NZBHydra 2 is a meta search for NZB indexers. It provides easy access to a number of raw and newznab based indexers. You can search all your indexers from one place and use it as indexer source for tools like Sonarr or CouchPotato.

Searches Anizb, BinSearch, NzbIndex and any newznab compatible indexers. Merges all results, filters them by a number of configurable restrictions, recognizes duplicates and returns them all in one place
Add results to nzbget or sabnzbd
Support for all relevant media IDs (IMDB, TMDB, TVDB, TVRage, TVMaze) and conversion between them
Query generation, meaning a query will be generated if only a media ID is provided in the search and the indexer doesn't support the ID or if no results were found
Compatible with Sonarr, Radarr, nzbget, sabnzbd, NZB 360, CouchPotato, Mylar, LL, Sickbeard, Jackett/Cardigann, Watcher, etc.
Search and download history and extensive stats, e.g. indexer response times, download shares, NZB age, etc.
Authentication and multi-user support
RSS support with configurable cache times
Torrent support:
For GUI searches, allowing you to download torrents to a blackhole folder
A separate TORZNAB compatible endpoint for API requests, allowing you to merge multiple trackers
Extensive configurability
Migration of database and settings from v1

Thanks for putting this qpkg together! Unfortunately the auto updater doesn’t seem to be working. When it tell NZBHydra to update itself it freezes, eventually crahses, and has to be restarted manually :(

On another note, for anyone looking to migrate from NZBHydra v1, choose the first migration option and type in the IP address and port of your old NZBHydra qpkg. This method imported all of my old settings and queries.

Thanks for doing this, so far it works pretty good, and the updater worked for me, I clicked update, switched to another tab and came back to it a few minutes later and it was up to date.
People laugh because I'm different, I laugh because they're all the same.

Unfortunately after the last reboot of my system, NZBHydra2 refuses to work. When starting manually, the following message shows up during boot:

Code: Select all

WARN --- [ main] .s.c.a.CommonAnnotationBeanPostProcessor : Invocation of destroy method failed on bean with name 'nzbHydra': java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /share/CE_CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/QJDK8/jre/lib/amd64/libawt_xawt.so: libXext.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Is this caused by NZBHydra2 or it's dependancy QJDK8? I have installed JRE8 from the official repo as well, there I can find the missing fine, however if I use java from the JRE path the same error occurs which is why I presume it's an NZBHydra2 issue.

Does anyone know how I can get it working again? I'm fairly new to the QNAP world and didn't have any success on my attempts to fix this.

Thanks!

After updating I have some trouble running NZBHydra2. After about 2 days it simply does stop running and I cannot restart it. If I do it refuses to start and the logfiles say that the port would already be in use. However I did look up all processes which somehow access the port and killed all of them. Still when I start NZBHydra2 it says the port would be in use and refuses to start. Only a complete restart of the QNAP NAS solves it and will start NZBHydra2 again after booting (and unlocking the harddrives). However it starts all over again and after one or two days it crashes and refuses to start due to the port issue... is there anything I can do or do you know anything similar and how to fix it?
1 or 2 versions before it was quite stable but this (and maybe the previous one too) are highly unstable as described and I cannot find the cause nor the solution to this...

Thanks a lot!

thanks to point this bug

indeed look like NZBHydra2 open two process

and the pid from command initiaing start only reflect the first process and not the second one, it means the second process keep running on background...
think it is more a dev application bug... i dont see why this apps open 2 separate process and 2 separate PID

I will try to find a work around, if i cant fix, i will post a github issue

Thanks a lot, that's awesome. In case you open a bug report could you put a link to it here as well, so I could follow the progress? Thanks a bunch!

Hi @QNAP_Stephane,

is there any news on this? Meanwhile the NZBHydra crashed got worse and the app "crashes" in less than 24hours. I always have to log in, kill the remaining java process and start it again. What's supposed to run automatically currently is like a regular task and I am not able to find a cause. Is there anything new on your end?

Thanks and best regards!
