Hi everyone,

There is a new version in the Unifi Controller, v. 5.13.29

Does anyone now if there will be a similar version for the Qnap?

Kind Regards,

Bill

Hi,

installed latest version 5.13.29
still 1.8.241.1 Java installed-

Latest firmware version 4.2.6 on NAS (QNAP 559 pro ii)

Unifi opens new tab with port 38190, which is obviously wrong!

Any ideas.

Thanks in advance

Take care

I also got a older Qnap 459 with 32x bit intel
I luckly saved the Unifi_5.12.35.0_x86.qpkg

This I normally install.

In order to update to last version I stop it on the qnap.
Download the UniFi Controller for unsupported Unix/Linux distros *** DIY / Completely unsupported *** from tha beta

On the qnap i the replace 3 folders
dl
lib
webapps

and i edit the qnap.conf by updating the version number ( not required as it only shows the correct verion in Gui)
and then restart the Unifi app.

Then all seams to work. So I dont understand the trouble with MongoDB?

Can I configure this QPKG to listen on a specific interface? I use a separate subnet for my "management network" and I don't want the regular NAS apps on that network, just this one. I would either dedicate one of the physical ports to this subnet, or use the new VLAN-based virtual interfaces I found in QTS 4.4.2.

I ended up using a Docker container for this so I could control which interface the UniFi controller app used

Ok, Im stuck. Im quite a noob on this but here is my situation. I had a 439proII+ and all worked well with an old version (5.10.something).
Since the unit was getting older, I decided to go for the newly released 453D..... and forgot to backup my unifi config...
For some reason now, I can't get the controller set up.
Over tried the package via Qnapclub and also the container version.
qnapclub gives the incorrect port (what is the correct one??)
the container version, I do get into the setup but when I put all my data in it doesn't configure and indicates incorrect user/password. Im 100% sure its the correct one (also changed it a couple of times) so I don't get the issue...
can anyone help?

Oh, sorry to hear that. This sounds like something specific to the UniFi controller. You might get better help over at the Ubiquiti forums.

Yeah I got it.... there is something wrong in the installer package.
I dowloaded it for my desktop and did all the settings. saved it and uploaded it to the app.
This worked since I bypassed the initial setup where it went wrong:)
Took me a day but Im up and running again:)
