goto reddit or Google?

how about goto https://community.ui.com/releases where each release is discussed as soon as it is released. Vast majority of issues are user related unless you are using "testing" release branch.

note: Beta Releases need users to sign upto EA/beta in their account. most of my stuff will run Beta, though I dont update automatically. I read the release threads looking for any serious issues first of all.

So your now upgraded to 6.1.71, can you access this via https://unifi.ui.com/dashboard ?
Nope, No controllers detected; https://imgur.com/XB34j4J

It's like the QNAP package isn't running or something?

Using 6.2.19 here. - it’s pretty stable.

Some users ** no matter what is done unfortunately.

Vast majority have gotten used to the new layout which is still under development. Though UI are slowly removing features on the old layout too.

Never understood why they approached this 2 tier layout but it is what it is.

This is the way……

i only noticed the ads after it was mentioned. very odd they did that. it's one thing to have ads on your website, but now it got snuck into the controller UI o-O; lel

when i'm using/managing unifi, i tend to use the newer UI. But some settings... i have to revert back to classic in order to make those changes. So it's back and forth between new and old UI, just to get better access for changing one setting or another :S

That said i found the guest vlan wifi setup to be extremely easy. I managed to get it working with my new managed switch

The advert is now apparently an option since 6.2.x

Improvements
Allow dismissing UDM-Pro banner in dashboard page.

6.2.17 is now RC and 6.2.19 is beta for the time being.

i'll update now and see if i get what you're getting

*update

okay i updated and it stills works for me

Code: Select all

https://my qnap nas ip:38193/

do you have a saved working config for your unifi controller? if so, would it be possible for you to uninstall, reinstall, then import your working config to restore? and see if that works?

or before that, try turn off the app, and turn it on, see if that does anything? if not, try reboot the qnap nas. does it still work? if not then you can resort to my first suggestion (assuming you backed up a working config, which i highly recommend)
