I have v2 updated and working on a machine and when I suspend it and try to install v3 everything goes fine (installs and runs fine) but v3 won't update to the latest version. There are no errors in the logs, the system says everything went ok and says it will reboot. It never reboots. I try to manually reboot, no luck. I kill the app and restart to force a reboot, it is still on 3.0.1.497.

I then tried to install and update v3 on a new machine where Sonarr was Never installed. Same issue. It installs and works perfectly, it just won't update. Again no errors in the logs.

In the process I did notice something. first of all you can't kill the v3 in app center like you can in v2 (or pretty much every other app). You have to kill it in the app - or by ssh and killing it in a terminal.

I don't have any media info errors like people are mentions, though that might have more to do with the more updated version (if I can ever get it updated).

So I was wondering if there was a chance to get a new updated package to install so that it doesn't have to update through so many versions. The current version is 3.0.3.698 as of the time of this writing.

Maybe with a new package it could also address the media info people are talking about.

I know all work is volunteer and so this isn't a demand in any way or kind. It is just a wish list if someone was so inclined to be so kind.

Otherwise, I will probably stick with v2 and wait till that updates to v3, if that is the path they go. I get the impression from their boards that the transition to v3 only isn't all that far away.

Also, I was just curious why the files don't go to the typical app directory. Not complaining, just curious why the change. Thanks again for everything.

On that note, i've had Sonarr 3 installed for quite some time now with no issues at all - updating inside the app worked fine.

As of the last few weeks, all updates fail (and it seems it's now happening to Radarr too).

Awesome! Thanks @Stephane! I appreciate your helping me out on this.

Quick question, with this new update, do I need to do anything about media info? Any extra packages?

Thanks again.

So I have two NAS. A TVS-1282T With a i7-6700 cpu and firmware 4.4.1.1216, and a TVS-2472XU-RP with i5-8500 cpu and firmware 4.4.1.1216.

The 1282T will update Sonarr. I have now updated the app twice.

The 2472XU will not update the app. I have tried to restart and a bunch of things. To no avail.

Within the app, the 1282T allows the app to restart from inside the Sonarr app. The 2472XU doesn't do anything when you try to restart in the app.

Both have the same mono installed and everything else is the same other than the unit itself.

Any clue what would affect the same app differently on two almost identical machines? Thanks

Is there anyway to get Sonarr/Radarr/Deluge to get using openvpn connection from qvpn?

I thought I had finally managed to get my autostart working again, and now this keeps happening every other day at most.

disk I/O error disk I/O error

It appears to be filling the root disk up, which I assume is due to an incorrect data location. I'm not sure how to tell where it's putting the data dir though.

Ok.. so I managed to move the data directory. Yeah!

So now how the heck do I fix this? "MediaInfo Library could not be loaded libmediainfo.so.0"

I've confirmed the lib does actually exist. I've tried creating symlinks and copying it to various locations to no luck. Any suggestions?

Another question... Sonarr 3 created a config folder (SONARR3_CONFIG) on the DATAVOL1 root. I'd like to delete it in order to make a clean install, but it seems impossible... any idea?

thanks

So what version of mono will solve the "mediainfo is required but was not found: libmediainfo.so.0"?
I already installed Media Info CLI as well as a new version of Sonarr but still this issue persists.

you need mediainfo shared version qpkg, not the static one
