But is this the server or a port of the app?
[Edit] It's the server

Re: [ StatPing ] [ 0.90.5 ] Status Page for monitoring your websites and applications with beautiful graphs, analytics,
I installed StatPing, but it failed to start.
To get it to start I changed this in StatPing.sh:
'./statping -ip 0.0.0.0 -port 50000&' to
'./statping --ip 0.0.0.0 --port 50000&'
However, I can't get a new ICMP Service to start. It remains in Offline state.
From https://github.com/statping/statping/wi ... mp-service
"You can send a ICMP (ping) to an endpoint rather than HTTP/TCP/UDP request for a quick response. For this service is fully work, you may need to run Statping as a sudo user."
I am not experienced with QTS (or Linux) so what do I change to get the StatPing ICMP Service working, just pinging an internal host?

Re: [ StatPing ] [ 0.90.5 ] Status Page for monitoring your websites and applications with beautiful graphs, analytics,
Have you done what @dannydk suggested to edit StatPing.sh with -- instead of - ?
To find the file, you should browse to this folder:
Code: Select all
cd /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/StatPing/
Also, take care that is port 50000, not 5000.

Re: [ StatPing ] [ 0.90.5 ] Status Page for monitoring your websites and applications with beautiful graphs, analytics,
*UPD* please disregard. I've updated "port" parameter with double dash, but missed "ip" one.
port 5000 is WebDAV port, which I had occasionally enabled in "QNAP->Control Panel -> Network&File Services" (disabled now)
It was very misleading, cause port 50000 was never showing anything for me, but 5000 was "interactive" and asking for password.
I've made changes to StatPing.sh (single dash to double-dash), but no difference.
For me <myserver>:50000 doesn't show anything. Web page doesn't load.
Other packages I've installed like PLEX, opened normally from QNAP page, clicking Open button, but not StatPing
Not sure if I should manually open some port or do any other pre-requisites?
