Hi Stephane, all,

I installed the TS-X32U (arm64) version for on my TS-230. When trying to start the app the following error occurs:

[/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/QTransmission3] # ./transmission-daemon: error while loading shared libraries: libnettle.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any idea on how to resolve?

Thanks

I have installed and appears to be installed correctly, however I am unable to see open ports via transmission. Add torrents and no download.
I can see the port I have in settings via CanYouSeeMe.org, as I have uPnP on my router - however Transmission can't see the port (portTested: http error 0: No Response)

Any suggestions?

if you need to open ports, best to do it manually, uPnP is bad .. disable it

I use transmission in a VM, with a auto-tunnel to VPN (based on virtual MAC) , no ports forwarded and torrents download blazing fast .. so no need to open ports

Thank you for your quick reply, however have no idea how to use VM's on my TS431 and was hoping to use transmission purely as an app. I've only just recently reset my QNAP and was using the previous version of QTransmission (must have been offical app?) which worked just fine.
I've got no idea why this version is unable to see the ports. Turned off uPnP and added manually, but Transmission 3.0.0.2 can not see port/begin download.
Was hoping to use this rather than download station

nope..no ports open ..and I think pia also does not support port forwarding through Openvpn anyways
