I just had the same issue upgrading to 3.0.2. The issue appeared to be that the old '/.qpkg/QSabNZBd3/SABnzbd-3.0.1/' directory was not properly removed upon upgrade. After manually deleting it, things started up correctly with my old config.
@QNAP_Stephane
It also appears that there is a logic error with the startup script where it always detects it is being run for the first time:
< if [ -f "$FILE" ]; then
echo "$FILE do not exists. first time your run $QPKG_NAME"
---
> if ! [ -f "$FILE" ]; then
echo "$FILE do not exists. first time your run $QPKG_NAME"

I just upgraded to 3.0.1, and now SAB won't start.
I had the same issue. I did a backup from my config and reinstalled it. restored the config, rename the par2 file again and sab did work again. No idea where the issue was...
Hello,
I have a strange problem. Every time Sab does a repair I receive the same failure. It always seems to pertain to the sample file.
I do not receive this error if direct unpack proceeds.

For some reason the 3.2.1 version didn't display in App Center even though the qnapclub.eu web page has the correct version. I tried refreshing the qnapclub repository, but it still had version 3.2.0. I downloaded 3.2.1 from qnapclub.eu and manually installed it from App Center. Success!
First post. Throw a newbie a bone folks. I know the basics of usenet, nzb, par,rar (Newbin on windows) and basic setup on my TVS-872XT but want to get started with usenet automation. Basic setup guide?
Probably just need to look around here some more...
When using 3.4.0.2, are we still supposed to install par2cmdline-mt ?
With or without it, I get "Multicore Par2 Not available" in sabnzbd configuration.
Any help ?
Also, I'm getting this error since yesterday:
"Server news.newshosting.com uses an untrusted certificate [Certificate not valid. This is most probably a server issue.]"
I'm pretty sure newshosting is ok and this is a certificate issue on my qnap nas.
Anybody knows how to fix it ?

Having the same issue. Newshosting posted this, but not sure how to update the cert on the QNAP side
about the certificate:
Cacert should do the job but the source where it gets certdata is no longer trusted https://www.qnapclub.eu/nl/qpkg/238
The script must first be updated which i tried but because of my lack of knowledge failed
I have the same issue, but dont know much on the programming side of things. I just download the Qpkg's frmo the Qnapclub site and load those to my Qnap. I asked on the Qnap forum for Help and OneCD sent me here to ask if Stephan would be looking to release a certificate fix. OneCD mentioned his Sherpa version has been tested and all works fine. Short discussion here.
