Worth commenting here in case others are searching like me. This CLI is the older way to test speed via HTTP requests. I found it maxed out around the 650MB mark on my 1GB connection.

If you see this you can download a linux binary from OOKLA and run that instead (search for OOKLA CLI). Its obviously not installed on the path as the package would do so will need to run from the location you unzip it into.

Don't waste your money. They want you to buy Apache just to run it. Just use container station and in a terminal issue the command:
