Re: Amazon Cloud Photo storage
+1 It's unfortunate this isn't a option yet after all this time.

Re: Amazon Cloud Photo storage
This is a community support forum, which QNAP does not actively monitor (other than the PreSales area). So if you want this option, please take the time and submit a Helpdesk "Feature Request" ticket. Doing a '+1' really isn't going to accomplish anything.

Are you sure submitting a feature request is an option anymore? Took the time to request this feature, but "Feature Request" wasn't listed in the drop down choices located at helpdesk.qnap.com.Trexx wrote:This is a community support forum, which QNAP does not actively monitor (other than the PreSales area). It looks like they may have removed the option. I would try it under App Center/ Cloud Drive Sync.
The other option would be to submit the request through this webpage.

Re: Amazon Cloud Photo storage
want to resurrect this thread.
Unless someone on this forum writes this app, and packages it into whatever format Qnap support - or at least cooks up a container with instructions, I guarantee that no one will do it for fun.
I'd say that's at least a 100 hours of work. Lets say someone works at $40/hour - that's $4k.
I never did a kickstarter, but based on interest in this thread, it should be a pretty easy goal.
ps: I looked through github and didn't see anything :/

Re: Amazon Cloud Photo storage
I just posted a service (open source) called Recall. Its end to end encrypted Photo storage which the dev told me in a thread can be self-hosted. And, the good news is that you can use your own cloud provider. Although, he pointed out that there's a bit of work involved to get your provider working with Recall (something about drivers) .... see here https://www.producthunt.com/posts/recall-3CrashPlanWoes wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 3:28 pm want to resurrect this thread.
