Too bad it is not following the updates from Ubiquiti, no updates since end of july.

I have successfully installed Unifi_5.6.24.0_x86_64.pkg and have the dependency installed as well, QJDK8 1.8.152 on QNAP TV-882.

However I receive the error: Make sure you’ve got the right web address: http://192.168.1.22:38190, can't reach thispage try again.

Do I nee specifiy another port, install addiotnal dependicies?

Did you ever have any luck figuring this out? I'm having the same issue. I just upgraded from 5.5.x to lastest 5.6.29 and have the same issue. 5.5 was working fine prior. I'm on a TS-469L.

5.6.29 is for QTS Firmware 4.3.x are you running this firmware on your NAS? you have not gievn any information apart from "TS-469L" and the version upgrade of the Controller software. do we have to guess everything else?

have you tried restarting Dependencies = QJDK8, and then restarting the Ubiquiti UniFi Controller App?

have you tried stating the Web Service?

what have you tried so far apart from visiting http://192.168.1.22:38190/ ?

I got it to work on my system.

I uninstalled Unifi and QJDK8

Installed QJDK8_1.8.152_x86_64.qpkg

then

Installed Unifi_5.6.29.0_x86_64.qpkg

after a few minutes, the qnap was unresponsive and I got an Apache error on refresh.

Then once the QNAP came back online (no reboot or anything) Unifi worked just fine. It started as http://192.168.1.210:38190 but automagically redirected to https://192.168.1.210:38190 and I was off to the races.

I will appreciate any help assistance with my below challenge. I have reasonable general IT technical knowledge and skills.

I have a TS-470 Pro and would like to install the UniFi controller on this NAS for management of AP's. The NAS and AP's are at my house (personal use).

After following threads here and elsewhere I have tried the following to get the UniFi controller working.
1. NAS firmware updated to latest version (V4.3.4.0435 Build 20171230)
2. JRE 8.151.2 installed and running
3. Mongo DB 4.2.2 installed
4. UniFi Controller V5.0.6 installed
5. All seemed to be running fine on the NAS, and I tried to open the UniFi web app (browser page tries to open 192.168.140.14:8188).
6. On seeing that UniFi controller uses port 8188, I made the necessary firewall changes on my Microtik router.
7. tried to open UniFi Controller app/page again, but still no success.
8. I restarted the NAS to see if this will help.
9. I now receive message that states this version of MongoDB and firmware are incompatible.

I think/believe that the UniFi controller is unable to open the app/page because of the MongoDB issue. I am unable to determine the cause for the firmware/MongoDB incompatibility issue.

Can anyone please advise/confirm if what I am trying to do is actually possible on the TS-470 Pro?

If yes, any advice on what I am doing wrong?
