Glacier support for AWS: eu-west-2

AWS have announced a new London Region which supports Glacier. The QNAP Glacier app does not show this in the dropdown, when logging into a Global AWS account. It should.

QNAP support say:

Glacier App supports all AWS standard regions, which is defined by Amazon. Best to refer to Amazon directly for more details.

Yet other vendors have to make changes to get extra regions listed in their backup applications.

Does anyone know what must happen for QNAP Glacier to have eu-west-2 in its region listing, and if the QNAP application will need changes to support them?
