Glacier: Intermittent "access is denied" problems

I have a stable QNAP setup that has been doing Glacier backups for over a year.

In recent ~8 weeks 2 of the scheduled backup jobs fail intermittently with "failed because the access is denied by the cloud storage service. Please check your network settings and contact the service provider for detailed information".

If I log in and launch the same jobs they work just fine and at other times the same jobs run ok at their scheduled time.

I cannot think of any conflicts in the system and network access is good.

Any thoughts on how to stabilise this would be a great help.
