I have been using the S3 Plus QPKG for some years now with great success. Today I decided to update to the most recent release - I used the GUI App Center to do so. This update failed. I then decided to reboot the NAS and on logging in again the S3 Plus QPKG is no longer availble in the GUI. I can see it availble in the App Center to install, which I have tried, but this consistently fails.
I assume that the QPKG is now corrupt- how do I clean it up so I can install it again?

Problem solved, my firmware was too old and needed an update.
I cleaned up (rm -r) the S3PLus folder from /shared/HDA_DATA/.qpkg and then reinstalled it.
