Hybrid Backup Sync - Job Not Finishing (Restoring from S3 => NAS)

Hey all

I previously used Hybrid Backup Sync to backup several folders to my S3 account. I'm now trying to restore from my S3 to my NAS. However, the job never finishes even though all the files (as far as I can tell) have been restored to my NAS.

I set the Usage Type to Download, chose the bucket (remote path) and the local path on the NAS to restore it to. Checked off Replicate Now and hit Apply.

Tested the connection too of course, which doesn't appear to be the issue as the files have been restored.


I've also tried using S3 Plus but I get the metadata database could not be found and it aborts.

I have a windows S3 tool to allow me to download everything to my PC and I can restore it that way. But I'd like to have this working from the NAS so it's good to go for future restores.


Let me know what other information I can provide to help guide me to a solution

I have an older NAS, the 659+ Pro which only has version 1.3.170914 as being available for it if I filter based on QTS version and then selecting my model appropriately.

Would installing 2.1.171130 be alright? Don't want to put something on my NAS that it can't support or shouldn't be installed.

Well I installed 2.1.171130 anyways, same issue, never stops.

hm... try create a support ticket to helpdesk to report the issue. hope they fix it.
