Hybrid WebDAV backup slow and high CPU

Hi experts,

I want to setup a Hybrid Backup to a cloud provider (TransIP Stack) using WebDAV for my 600 GB of data.
Configuration is OK (no encryption) and backup is in progress, but extremely slow, around 160 kb/s.
Whereas my internet connection is 100 Mb/s.

I figured out that the CPU is at 100% all the time.
The processes that take the CPU are mount.davfs, python and kernel_processes.

I tried with 2 QNaps: TS-212 and TS-112 with firmware version 4.3.3.0299.
Hybrid Backup Sync version: 2.1.170914

Why is it taking so much CPU for just uploading files?
Backup is taking me > 30 days, where in theory it could be done in 17 hours.

both of the QNAP's you tested are slow old ARM kirkwood devices, probably completely underpowered for this
