Cloud Backup Sync connection to NextCloud using Webdav is not working

Post by AZeroEight »

Hi,

I have tried to connect to my own cloud which is formed through a NextCloud 12.0.4 Installation (tried also 12.0.1 previously) using Hybrid Backup Sync/Cloud Backup Sync but it tells me the authentication failed - the connection details are definitely right and I tried HTTPS as well as HTTP.

Any hints how I can troubleshoot the QNAP side?

Did you ever get this working? I'm having the same problem trying to connect to a NextCloud server.

Hey, I'm having also the same problem, I'm trying to remote mount a nextcloud webdav into my QNA NAS (TS-653A) and it always throws the error:

"System message
Failed to connect to remote server. Please check your connection settings and try again."

I'm very certain that the connection data is correct and I'm also getting a ping on the nextcloud host. Any pointers?

Best regards, M

Have you tried the URI WebDAV?

This is the URI that worked for me:

https://<my-server>/remote.php/webdav/
