This is the list of devices that is published on the Qnap Site:
The IT Management Station is available in the App Center for the following Turbo NAS models running the QTS 4.1 operating systems or newer version:
TS-EC2480U-RP, TS-EC1680U-RP, TS-EC1280U-RP, TS-EC880U-RP, TS-EC1080 Pro, TS-EC880 Pro TS-EC1679U-SAS-RP, TS-EC1279U-SAS-RP, SS-EC2479U-SAS-RP, SS-EC1879U-SAS-RP, SS-EC1279U-SAS-RP, TS-EC1679U-RP, TS-1679U-RP, TS-EC1279U-RP, TS-1279U-RP, TS-EC879U-RP, TS-879U-RP, TS-1079 Pro, TS-879 Pro, TS-1270U-RP, TS-870U-RP, TS-870, TS-670, TS-470, TS-870 Pro, TS-670 Pro, TS-470 Pro, TS-1269U-RP, TS-869U-RP, TS-469U-RP, TS-469U-SP, TS-869 Pro, TS-669 Pro, TS-569 Pro, TS-469 Pro, TS-269 Pro, TS-869L, TS-669L, TS-569L, TS-469L, TS-269L, TS-851, TS-651, TS-451, TS-251.
I would guess that as long as you can run the latest 4.1 firmware you can run IT Management Station, but this is only a guess

Re: install it mgmt station on my 509 pro qnap
This problem I have may be as simple as it NOT being part of the Supported QNAP Models TS459.
I have tried to install this on one of my TS459, and although NOT in the list, the package does seem to install, at least the QPKG does. But when I run through all the setup stuff, enter in LDAP setting etc. it starts the "Archive Installation" which is a really Odd name to call it.
Web page icon stops turning, but the browser tab is still running "waiting for IP 192.168.xxx.xxx", which is the Qnap IP. Waiting for about 5 min and nothing is happening. What is it waiting for??
But at this point, the install fails. I can see that it has written files into MySQL and on the Qnap itself such as others mention. So it seems it CAN write where it needs to, but just can't finish. For now I give up.
Anyway, I really like what this Mandriva Pulse2 seems to be able to do. It's is just a shame it doesn't run on my Qnap, and even worse is that contacting Mandriva via email, and I cannot even get a Trial or a Demo or anything.
I have signed up for a Webinar with them, but even after I watch the movie, I have no idea if they are going to offer me a Trial/Demo or just thank me for watching the demo.
This is an extremely ODD way to do business I think, and makes me want to stay clear of them?? Anyone had experience with this software company in general??
