Backto > GCP > Where are the versions kept?

So I run backup locally and use smart versions. And that works NAS to NAS

I run a backup to a bucket on GCP and it replicates (FULL) on first backup.

If I then delete some files and replace some on source NAS and then run another BACKUP to GCP on the GCP Bucket DESTINATION there is just a match of what is current (latest as HBS calls it)

Where are the deleted files? Where are the orig files that were replaced during the backup moved to ?

Any ideas?

Or is BACKUP - just actually as SYNC in GCP case ?

I have mirror deletions ticked and have optioned to keep deleted files for 28days.

Can anyone shed any light ?
