Good day all. From the forums this seems to be the likely place to post this issue!
Recently upgraded 2xTS212 and 4 TS-220 to Firmware V4.3.3.0210.
Now, no one can connect to existing network Shares that have been is place for years with absolutely no issues - none - at all.
Each NAS device has entries in the Lan DNS servers, no go. Even using the FQDN. The only work around is to create an entry in the localhol HOST file OR restarting the device.
Wow, upgrade and step back to "Windows For Workgroups" networking.
This is a not at all acceptable and would like to have either this fixed or a resolution.
We have 8 other clients that use various models of Qnap devices and we are absolutely mortified and fearful of updating any device at all.
Again to repeat; Nothing Network or Lan side has changed except the Update. No issues or errors in any logiles, can ping internally and externally, can perform nslookups inside and outside. So it it NOT a network issue in our environment nor any client environment.
Thanks for any pointers/assistance.
Cannot connect to NQnap Shares after Firmware Update.
