Failed to update

Post by egupton »

I setup Qcenter to manage qnaps over the internet at various clients. I have all ports open to my Qcenter. When I try to update the firmware with Qcenter to a remote qnap, it spins for awhile on uploading then fails. Am I missing something? Is there something else that needs open?

Thanks.

I would open up the agent app on the remote server’s QTs desktop and make sure it reports green health. Sometimes qcenter thinks things are ok with agents when they aren’t.

Do the qnaps need any incoming ports open to do firmware updates? Currently nothing is open.

Are any of these failed NAS's behind a NAT firewall you'll need "Connect to Q'center" QPKG to to mange them correctly.
