Login problem

Post by oninnavoig »

Hello everybody!
I own a TS-853 pro and a TS-253 pro.
I've just updated the firmware to the last release (4.3.4.0588).
I'm trying to log in to the web interface but in both NAS I can't go any further than the privacy advice:

What do I have to do to reach the web interface?
Thankyou for yout attention

Hello,

I also have exactly the same problem. After the update The web access of my NAS (TS-453B) returns tirelessly on the page of the agreement for the "confidentiality of the data".
I can not administer my NAS anymore.
How to do ?

I think I have a solution to the problem: I was trying to access the NAS with Firefox.
I then tried with Edge and it worked. I think it's a malfunction of the browser.

Yeah it's a weird solution but a solution anyway. I had the same problem with Firefox Quantum (60.0.1), I tried with Chrome and it works ! But it's weird that it didn't work with Firefox :S

It worked!
I was trying to enter with fiorefox.
Once you enter with another browser (safari) the web interface is accessible again with firefox.
Thak you!!!

Thanks for the advice but I am a naive user. I have looked up ssh but where do I start? If you could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

Many thanks.

Indeed, Yet Another Update to solve a bug, but it does not solve it for me on 1x of our 14x NAS-ses. :(
Used FireFox, no luck.
Used Chrome, no luck.
Even an older IE, no luck.

I guess we can expect Yet Another Update within the next few days.

Dear QNAP, instead of bashing other vendors, please focus on improving your quality (and performance, because that is still not up to par)

didn't fix it for me too,
used different browsers and users

tried poking around in the html/js but could only find a wrong styletag, which didn't fix the issue
