MAC address removed and HDD unreachable (TS219PII)

Post by rigolef »

Hello,

This have been discussed before but the solutions mentioned are not working for me.
I have an old TS-219 PII that I'm now replacing with a TS-653D.
The new NAS is installed fine but the issue I have now is that I cannot connect to the old server (to be clear, this was already the case before I installed the new server).

The MAC address is showing 00-00-00-00-05-09. I already found that this is an issue caused by firmware updates but the problem is that I cannot change. I have found a couple of ways to do, but the issue is that I cannot connect via SSH (ssh admin@192.168.1.104 is resulting in an "Operation Time Out").

The old QNAP can still be found by QFinder but I don't get any response.
Some smart guys around here that can help me (I'm using a MAC)?

Another issue to be solved later that I appear to have lost all data on the old HDD drives as I could not find any data (but this is maybe related with the issue above?)

Thanks,
