Add QNAP mgmgt UI to Mgmt VLAN

Post by skyrider117 »

Hello All,
I cannot seem to find an answer on this via the usual searching. I have a TVS-1271u-RP 4 x 1g ports with the 2 x 10g port addon card.
What I am looking to do is use the 10g card for normal everyday data use( file serving only) but dedicate 1 of the 1g ports for sole access to the management UI.
My network is segregated with three vlans.
1 is all VoIP
1 is data
and the last is my ILO/RILO/management network.

Thoughts?

Regards,
Karl

Try looking at service binding.
Use the forum search feature before posting.

Use RAID and external backups. RAID will protect you from disk failure, keep your system running, and data accessible while the disk is replaced, and the RAID rebuilt. Backups will allow you to recover data that is lost or corrupted, or from system failure. One does not replace the other.
