Internal Server Error using Helpdesk.

Post by padamson1 »

I am thinking that this problem is actually related to the issue that I want to file a help desk ticket on.

I have a brand new QNAP TS-251D with dual SSDs. I believe I have completed the basic configuration:
  • Upgraded firmware.
  • Ran the SSD profiling tool (meaning it was successfully downloaded).
  • Setup storage pool as Raid1 (with 10% overpartitioning for SSD)
  • Setup Volume partition (at 80% of total space)
  • Created a couple of shared folders and successfully copied file from my PC

I then noticed that the login page was not using SSL, even though I had selected SSL for login. Rebooted, no joy and https does not seem to be functioning. Then I tried to download some Apps and they all seem to be stuck at zero percent in the background tasks menu. See attached below.

So I try to create a Helpdesk ticket. When I try to login with my QNap ID (which I had to create on the QNAp site but see no place to enter on the QTS GUI), I get an internal server err. So now I am thinking something is fundamentally wrong with my configuration.

Does anyone have thoughts? Am I going to have to telnet in and be a Linux guy?
