firmware 4.2.0, go to app center, you will see Elephantdrive app......then enable web server.go applications -> web server -> enable web server

Yeah, I've done that -- and although I now get beyond the 'refused' message - I now get exactly the following
error... but enabling the web server has NOT fixed it.

any further ideas ?

Re: Elephantdrive has gone in 4.2.0
Okay - finally fixed it (for me anyway -- I have a TS-419P).
It was an error in the ElephantDrive Qpkg
Once you've installed ElephantDrive (and you get the "The requested URL /elephantdrive was not found on this server" error
- as per http://support.elephantdrive.com/hc/en- ... m-QNAP-UI-)
Login to your QNAP directly (telnet / ssh) and do the following ;
# cd /etc/init.d
# vi elephantdrive.sh (dont worry - you only need to know the simple vi commands)
change the line that says ;
/bin/ln -sf ${QPKG_DIR}/www /share/web/elephantdrive
to be ;
/bin/ln -sf ${QPKG_DIR}/www /share/Qweb/elephantdrive
and then save the file.
Restart Elephantdrive ;
# ./elephantdrive.sh restart
and then the ElephantDrive web page will now show up.
Hope this helps someone else in the same boat.

Re: Elephantdrive has gone in 4.2.0
As tigercook mentioned earlier, Web server needs to be enabled in order to access any GUI, including the /elephantdrive page. Step-by-step instructions for enabling web server are available here: http://support.elephantdrive.com/hc/en- ... /210146457
@colditz - Can you please write to us at support@elephantdrive.com (please mention this QNAP Forum thread in your email, so we know it's you)? We would love to help diagnose if the issue continues to exist even after enabling the Web Server for your particular NAS model or environment.
