Hi there
I've tried installing the Xopero system to one of my NAS'.
First time I tried defining the storage manually.
I have installed the client software, and I've tried creating some backup sets, but nothing is stored, and backups are aborted.
So I tried uninstalling it, apparently it doesn't clean up after itself, so when I reinstalled it, it still showed all the config.
So I tried searching for folder pertaining to xopero, and found a couple of them on the raids, and thus I removed them.
Now I've reinstalled it, and it now shows the 'first run wizard' when I start the management console.
But when I choose automatic for storage (as opposed to first time), it now gives me a message that the discs can't be listed.
So something is off, I would like to make a complete cleanup of the app, and start over, but this isn't done by the uninstall, and I can't find info about what to clean out.
Xopero doesn't work on TS-659ProII

Re: Xopero doesn't work on TS-659ProII
Now I've searched through the entire NAS, and still no luck, I doubt this works at all.
I've tried both as imaging, and as a backup of a few files.
I see this error:
Error:
Sending file error.
Message:
Typeinitialiseringsfunktionen for 'Opero.Common.IO.CRC32Reader' udløste en undtagelse.
Windows 10 is in danish.

So, with the complete lack of functionality for me, I doubt I will sacrifice $180 to get the commercial version...

Re: Xopero doesn't work on TS-659ProII
Hello Fribse,
Sorry for delay. To be able to advise you anything, we need application logs from Xopero agent on Windows. Without them we don't have enough information.
Xopero in trial version has a license for technical support. Therefore ideally would be if you report an issue using the form available on the website: http://support.xopero.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
You can find more information at xopero.com
Best regards,
Marta from Xopero Team

Hi Marta
I'll have a look at it again then, it has been deleted of the systems a long time ago.
So what you are saying is that if I use the 'Free Forever' I can't get support, but if I install the Trial I can???
Let me quote your own email to me:

Hello Kenneth,
Xopero Free Forever does not include technical support.
I invite you to read the instructions available on the website: http://wiki.xopero.com/index.php/User_manual
Regards,
Marta Melon"

Re: Xopero doesn't work on TS-659ProII
Hello,
Xopero Free Forever is limited up to three devices in contrast to the Xopero Pro which trial is fully functional, but limited up to 30 days of free usage. I'm sorry, but free version doesn't have a license for technical support.
Your earlier issue (about you mention) concerned a VHD backup, that's why you got a link to manual.
Regards,
Marta from Xopero Team
