Files deleted over NFS not sent to Recycle

Post by Bedlore »

I'm running a TS-859 Pro+ with firmware 4.2.6 Build 20170517.
I've found that the network recycle bin is not working for files deleted over NFS and doesn't appeared to be since late 2016. I've checked settings and found its enabled and appears correct. Is this system now broken?

Nothing broken. NFS is not covered by the Network Recycle Bin at all....never really was.

Network Recycle Bin:
...This feature only supports file deletion via Samba, AFP, FTP and File Station. ...

Thank you for pointing that out, it should really be stated in the GUI. Its a great shame, I've now disabled it as its largely useless on the full NFS network I run here.
