shared /home/alain not accessible from Linux

Post by alain.roger » Fri Oct 16, 2020 3:21 pm

Hi,

i have a directory /homes/alain that i share normally with R/W rights for user ALAIN to /homes and to /homes/alain
however in my desktop computer when i try to mount it, ubuntu returns me:

Code: Select all

mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting QNAP:/homes/alain
i have several shared folders on QNAP and all are shared in the same way with the same user, as I'm the only one to use the NAS for now. WHile other shared folders are accessible from Ubuntu computer, i do not understand why for this particular NAS folder /homes and /homes/alain it does not work.

Any idea ?
thx
