I had been backing up two Raspberry Pi 4s to my TS-251D, staring by mounting the drive. Now I get:
Code: Select all
pi@hampi:/bin $ sudo mount -t cifs -o username=pi,password=******** //NAS486FE6.fios-router.home/Backups /media -v
mount.cifs kernel mount options: ip=192.168.1.65,unc=\\NAS486FE6.fios-router.home\Backups,user=pi,pass=********
Unable to find suitable address.
From the Pi, I'm able to connect to the NAS with chromium and get the loging prompt.
Leads me to think the new version of NAS firmware doesn't support CIFS, or permissions got changed somewhere I haven't looked.
Thanks
