Re: Home Assistant - Docker (Help)
When installing the docker image, under advanced->network I added Host:Container 8123:8123.

Re: Home Assistant - Docker (Help)
I am having similar problems.
First installed Home-assistant and created the Docker container with the default configuration, and could not reach the home-assistant web Ui using http://nas-ip-address:8123.
Then I read about the port forwarding in the forums so I exported the container and imported again setting port forwarding as previous post "host:container 8123:8123 tcp".
Still no luck with accessing the web UI...on port 8123..
What else to try? I am newbie both using docker and home-assistant so bear with me.

Re: Home Assistant - Docker (Help)
Nice write up. Only feedback that I have is I am not a big fan of storing my Docker persistent data in the QNAP Container folder. I have created a separate shared folder "Docker_Configs" where I create app specific sub-folders in. That way if QNAP ever decides to change things there are no affects on my data related to Container Station.niklas99 wrote:After figuring it out, I wrote this step-by-step guide:

Re: Home Assistant - Docker (Help)
I’ve installed “homeassistant/armhf-homeassistant” image from Docker Hub in a QNap TS128. When I try to start the container it says:
starting version 3.2.2
Fatal Python error: failed to get random numbers to initialize Python
Can anyone help me?
