Re: !!!Warning!!!: Update to Container Station 1.7 removed/deleted all containers
This morning Container Station worked again (blank, as I previously deleted all containers). I am trying to reinstall my preferred container (here) and we will see.

ok I reinstalled CS as suggested and I don't see my containers in CS app, but I see them when I type "docker ps" command, any fix to this?

Re: !!!Warning!!!: Update to Container Station 1.7 removed/deleted all containers
To resolve this, I installed the previous version of "Container Station" on the QNAP downloads website: "https://www.qnap.com/product_x_down/".
I did it from here: https://www.qnap.com/en-us/app_center/? ... at_choose=
The version I have downloaded has been: "Container Station 1.6.1714 (2016/10/13)".
I have installed it manually (in APP CENTER, icon with a "+" in the upper right).
Once installed, when I opened it for the first time, it asks me to select the folder for the containers, and I chose the one that already existed (contains folder: "container-station-data"). I selected to keep the previous settings.
And it works again normally.

Re: !!!Warning!!!: Update to Container Station 1.7 removed/deleted all containers
i think that the issue is that the package does mention that a new share will be setup and that configuration is somehow getting messed up

Re: !!!Warning!!!: Update to Container Station 1.7 removed/deleted all containers
Any easy way to back up containers on 1.6 and restore them on 1.7? Or has anyone been able to successfully upgrade while maintaining containers?
I'm eager to have gui access for configuring bridge mode too!

Wow. This is a significant problem.
QNAP, please promptly pull 1.7 until fixed. This is too painful for too many.
Thanks,
Bill

Re: !!!Warning!!!: Update to Container Station 1.7 removed all containers
The CS upgrade became available in my NAS yesterday, so obviously QNAP is still pushing it, but is there a way for me to find out exactly which version they are pushing (except install and try)?
I am now afraid to "try" because of all the horror stories listed in this thread....

Re: !!!Warning!!!: Update to Container Station 1.7 removed all containers
Container Station 1.7.2224 ( 2017/02/23 ) still has the problem.
I was able to solve the problem using the method described by pedrolces above.

Re: !!!Warning!!!: Update to Container Station 1.7 removed all containers
I updated to CS 1.7.2224 today after first upgrading QTS to 4.2.4 and everything worked just fine. All my containers were intact and are running after the upgrade.
