I'm really not sure where to best ask this question, here, a handbrake forum, thread for the docker images? So I'll start here.
I've created 2 Docker containers for Handbrake, one coppit/handbrake and one jlesage/handbrake. I don't want to totally peg my TS-451+ so I gave it 90% of my CPU and 1/2 of my 2G of RAM. For some reason in both containers, the CPU never goes above ~22% and maybe 20% of the RAM I gave it. It's encoding is dog slow. The images are on the local 4 disk RAID 5 array with 3TB WD Red drives. I can't imagine it's the array because it runs plenty fast across the network on another machine.
Any thoughts? Do Dockers have a high I/O overhead?
Thanks.

Re: Handbrake Docker Running Very Slow
What not run the native qpkg version from Community apps? One runs under hd Station, other via cli in ssh session.
