debian 10 image: file not supported

Hi

Actually I have currently several issues with the debian in LXC containers, but I assume only one is related to the container station, whilst the other ones are more related to debian itself.

Due to the fact the debian based on the debian jessie image fails to update the distribution, I am trying to install a new release of debian directly. Now I have found an image for debian 10 for the container station directly on the QNAP server: http://download.qnap.com/QPKG/container ... d64.tar.gz
But if I try to import it into the image as .tar.gz or as .tar, I always get the error that the file is not supported.

How can I get a working image to update to a current linux version?
